We currently have an opening for a North America Customer Service Support Manager in Olathe, Kansas.
Job Description
- Oversee the day to day management of the North American AG Support department
- Provide service and support to customers and the company service department on matters relating operating and setting up the range of Precision Agriculture equipment.
- Dispense Service Bulletins as required.
- Ensure that support procedures are adhered to.
- Work closely with Global Service and Support Manager
- Visit customer in field to get resolution to problems as required.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing staff to provide service to dealers.
- Phone response to dealer questions and queries.
- Ensuring that dealers are responded to within working hours.
- Provide Dealer and OEM sales and support training in Topcon Products as required.
- Attend and manage field days and training events for Topcon products including marketing and advertising.
- Resolve customer complaints and queries.
- When necessary co-ordinate appropriate technical support to provide advanced or specialised training in Topcon Products when this is required.
- Work with and communicate with Topcon’s technical support, sales support, production, engineering, R & D and other departments on issues affecting our ability to deliver field support to end users and dealers.
- Conduct performance appraisals.
- Promote and consistently demonstrate Topcon’s Vision and Values.
- Comply with the requirements of the TPA Management System (TPAMS)
- Comply with the requirements of the Employee Handbook and Code of Business Conduct.
Experience/Skills
- 3-5 years experience in a managerial environment
- 1-3 years experience in Service environment
- 1-3 years experience in agricultural machinery and applications
- Four year college degree preferred with emphasis on technology disciplines
- Technical or Trade Qualifications in Agriculture, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Computing or Hydraulics or equivalent.
- Self motivated and able to work without supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills based on AG GPS positioning and control applications
- Knowledge of the agricultural equipment, operation, application and industry
- Computer skills in basic Microsoft Office suite.

Additional Information
- Up to 25% Travel – Domestic and International
- Attendance at field days is required as instructed by Director of Sales
- Occasional R/D testing as directed by Director Sales
- Relocation is available for the successful candidate
